Oluwafemi Oladapo is his real name, but widely and professionally known as Slimcase. He is a famous Nigerian recording artist, rapper, songwriter, hypeman and actor who has gained prominence for being one of the promoters of the street dance.

He was born August 22, 1982 in Ikorodu area of Lagos State. Slimcase grew up in Lagos with his parents. He is an indigene of Lagos State where he had his primary and secondary education respectively.

Slimcase’s Music Career

Prior to this development, Slimcase was known in his senior school to be doing rapping in English and sometimes infusing his native dialect, Yoruba into his songs.

He became professionally known in music in 2017 when he met indigenous rapper, Idowest who then featured him on the popular single, ‘Shepeteri’.

The song was a massive hit, as it received a vote of being one of the top-charting street pop songs of 2017 and 2018 respectively.

The song also helped to promote the street dance, Shaku Shaku, which became the preferred dance move of many Nigerians.
